DenMar Estate Cellar Door first opened Easter 2010, since then we have had many visitors and many who enjoy our wines and have returned a number of times. 

 

All DenMar Estate wine is made only from grapes grown on our property making it truly 'single vineyard wine'; our soil is different to most of the Hunter soil, since it is one of the few properties which lie on what is known as the Belford Dome, a rich clay and limestone soil similar to the Terra Rosa and the soils of Burgundy.

 

We have just released our 2009 Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Cellar Door. Our 2009 Chardonnay was awarded a silver medal at the prestigious Hunter Valley wine show held August 19, there were only 3 golds and 2 silver awarded in this class and we were the only small producer among the top five medallists.

 

DenMar Estate Wine can only be purchased in our Cellar Door or online, apart from a few local restaurants so we hope to see you in our Cellar Door soon.
